Rose, played by Corinna Harfouch, is a single mother. Despite the arduous task of raising of her three-almost adult-sons, she has remained young and attempts to live her own left-wing, alternative lifestyle: aside from yoga and writing cheap novels, it is men inparticular who caude her problems. On the one hand, ther ist Gerhard, in whose favour she cannot decide one way or another; on the other hand there are her three sons, with the youngest causing his mother the graêatest amount of worry with hishouse parties and smoking marijuana. Fose and her three sons do their best to find their way as a family in the everyday chaos, but then to crown it all, Jürgen appears. Jürgen - not seen or heard from in ten years - is her ex-husband and the father of her three sons.
