For over a decade, two Swiss police detectives have been unsuccessfully tracking down a serial killer. One day, an American federal agent arrives in town, claiming that the case is linked to similar murders in the United States. The two Swiss investigators are immediately on the defensive, suspecting that the American agent is merely trying to glorify himself. As they squabble over the management of the investigation, tension mounts and it becomes clear that something bigger is at play. The clues multiply, revealing a frightening truth that no one could have imagined.
