There are three parts to this film. Three periods in our common history. Three words which, each in its own way, express the questions that mankind has been asking itself since the beginning of time. A dialogue by Plato, brought to life by two actors, a monologue by Hannah Arendt delivered by one actor, and a contemporary dialogue written by Miéville, between a man and a woman in their fifties who for half of their lives have followed the same path. A philosophic tradition, inseparable from the modern world.
