Composer Giancarlo Nicolai explores new realms of sound with his guitar. Visual structures are rendered audible in his compositions, resulting in the creation of a form of music beyond all conventions. Musically, Nicolai has gone his own way for many years. The film accompanies this Bernese composer of Italian origin, attempting to render visible the inspirations for his compositions.
