Loose gestures, an intense gaze, focused. Towering paintings, placed where the inspiration nests, in the pastures of central Switzerland. During a year, following the rhythm of the four seasons, the contemporary artist Barbara Gwerder painted the Alps in its own way : with authenticity, unvarnished. And her “AlpStreich” project - which won the 2015 FEMS price of the Edouard and Maurice Sandoz Foundation - was born under the discreet eye of the film director. A “workshop” purely shot, in the heart of an imposing nature.
