This film, shot at the Tehran Art University, gives accounts of discussions on identity, freedom of expression and the role of art in an Iranian society in which everything is controlled. To what extent do individuals carry the restraints and censorship within? Does one dare to speak about the fact that there are certain things about which one doesn’t dare to speak? What part of ourselves do we conceal, consciously or unconsciously, due to social pressure? The statements by people interviewed, at times accompanied with images, form the common thread of this documentary film in which concealment, conditioning, taboo and self-censorship are frequently mentioned.
