In 2021, dictator Lukashenko ignites a humanitarian crisis on the EU border. Belarusian journalist Kseniya Halubovich opposes the regime, helps an Iraqi family to escape and is forced into exile herself. When the family later refuses to take part in the film, Kseniya becomes the protagonist. The documentary film explores responsibility, humanity and the limits of the documentary.
