The eleven-year-old Pino suffers from a life-threatening form of hemophilia and is not allowed to leave the house. When he is given the chance to become part of a gang of children, he begins to fight for his freedom. With immense courage he challenges his physical limits, defies parental anxiety and his grandmother's eccentric beliefs and shows them that he too has the right to live like everyone else.

L'undicenne Pino soffre di una forma di emofilia che mette a rischio la sua vita e non può uscire di casa. Quando ha la possibilità di entrare a far parte di una banda di bambini, inizia a lottare per la sua libertà. Con grande coraggio sfida i suoi limiti fisici, sfida la paura dei suoi genitori e le eccentriche convinzioni della nonna e mostra loro che anche lui ha il diritto di vivere come tutti gli altri.
