The painter Fredy Frei, the teacher Ruth Frey, the artist Monica von Rosen, the movement pedagogue Rita Maeder-Kempf and the junk dealer Urs Wydler look back upon their lives reflectively with a smile on their face. They tell us if they have been those who they always wanted to be. They take us along on part of their way and describe what has marked their lives, what they regret, what they will never forget and how old age feels and that it is worth getting old.
