The touching recollections of a Jewish woman who had a Nazi uncle. Dr. Leonardo Conti, born in Switzerland in 1900 became the head of the Third Reich health system. His Swiss niece, daughter of a Jewish man, remembers his career. Leonardo Conti shared responsibility for the T4 operation, the enforced euthanasia of the incurably ill and those suffering from hereditary illnesses. After his arrest by the Allies at the end of the war Conti committed suicide while emprisoned in Nuremberg. A journey through one of the darkest periods of European history.
