The moving story of the dying craft of whipmaking. Viewers travel through Switzerland and Trentino in Italy, where they experience the last masters of their trade up close. The 95-year-old Walter Fässler takes centre stage as he creates his last whips, revealing his deep connection to a tradition that will soon be forgotten. The Tamé brothers in Taio and Georg Fehr in Ehrlen, Canton Thurgau, also demonstrate their unique manufacturing techniques with dedication. A tribute to craftsmanship that is in danger of being forgotten.
La storia commovente dell'artigianato in via di estinzione della frusta.
