Mrs Fischer and Mrs Troxler are old. They live in a nursing home, their last home. Mrs Troxler's strength is fading, but she doesn't allow herself to miss her weekly gymnastics lesson. If circumstance will have it, she meets her friend for tea in the afternoon. Mrs Fischer sleeps a lot. No one knows what goes through her mind when her eyes are closed. Her memory is fading. A film that pauses and opens the viewer's eyes to the process of ageing.
