Swiss artist Yann Marussich has always sought to provoke through his radical work. In residence at a former prison in Montevideo, now converted into a contemporary art centre, the performer engages in a reflection on concrete. Totally invested in his approach, Marussich attempts to physically immerse himself in this heavy and hostile material, a symbol of colonisation of bodies and territories.
At the same time, he invites eight Latin American performers to create solos and deliver their visions of this material through their own stories, struggles and bodies.
