The town of Wulong in the majestic mountains of southwest China is divided by a river. In order to get to work, the poorest inhabitants had to swim to the other bank every day. It was not until 1980 that the first bridge was built over the Wujian. But with the advent of mass tourism and the economic boom, the simple farmers suddenly find themselves facing an uncertain future.
