Filmed in an industrial area of Lausanne inhabited by prostitutes and workers at a freight train station, this film utilizes the abstract language of dance in a setting which is concrete and real. The film tells of a quest. Mika, a young man completely bound by the constraints of his job and society, has the impression that because money is tight, he must renounce the things he longs for in life. Following an automobile accident, his girlfriend dies, as does he – following a brief struggle for his life. This moment of resistance unfolds in the film, becoming a poetic digression on the difficulty of “letting go”.
