Ann never goes out, because she lives right behind the counter of her pub. Flannery's has its own rules. Anyone who disrespects them is out. The regulars of the headstrong landlady know the limits. Every day, 55-year-old Ann puts her heart and soul into serving her guests, creating a place of security – a harbour in the rough seas of life. At the same time the small pub in the heart of Ireland is Ann's solid rock in everyday life.
