Watch two young grip and lighting workers during an ordinary film workday.
From early morning until late, before, on, and after the film set. From loading the van and driving to the location to physically demanding logistical routines and small, unexpected details –a daily reality that often remains invisible to outsiders.
11 & ½ H portrays this reality with a mix of observational humor and constant repetition, as it truly is, placing at its center those without whom no shooting day would be possible, yet who rarely receive the same recognition as directors, cinematographers, or actors. Far from the glamour of filmmaking, close to a set routine many know but few ever tell.
