An autobiographical documentary based on the correspondence of two Cuban filmmakers. From childhood, Patricia and Heidi were friends. Their emigration to Europe separated them for 15 years. By recalling memories of their country and sharing their current life experiences abroad, they try to find themselves in their film practice. An emotional and intimate journey on friendship, motherhood and borders crossed. Their story reflects the challenges, roots, and journey of an entire generation.
