Born in 1984 in Fiesole, Italy. Italian citizenship. Received degree in Literature and Philosophy from Torino University. Her award-winning debut film CORPO CELESTE (2011) premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. Her second feature film THE WONDERS (2014) screened in Competition at the Festival de Cannes and was awarded with the Grand Prix. HAPPY AS LAZZARO (2018) and LA CHIMERA (2023), both coproduced with the Swiss production company Amka Films Productions, were also selected for the Competition in Cannes.
