Film registration
Register your Swiss films and coproductions on the Swiss Films Portal.
Producers can use the portal to register data on their films, enter films for the Swiss Film Award and exchange information with us concerning the international release of their films.
Why should I register my film?
- SWISS FILMS publishes film data on its website in three languages, making it easier for others to find your film and see who is involved in the production and distribution.
- Full data must be provided if you wish to take advantage of the SWISS FILMS consulting service or support measures or enter your film for the Swiss Film Award.
- It makes it easier for SWISS FILMS to collaborate with you in terms of international strategy and to contact you about networking events and other promotional activities.
- SWISS FILMS documents your film's international release and publishes the information on its website (selected festivals, theatrical release dates, VOD or programmes).
- Film and release data is passed on to the Federal Statistical Office and Cinémathèque suisse for archiving.
How to register a film:
- Create a login and enter the film data.
- Register your film while still at an early production stage.
- Every piece of information entered must be saved and updated.
- You can interrupt the film registration process at any time by logging out.
- As soon as you have entered all the information in full, complete the registration process (by clicking "Save & send data to SWISS FILMS").
This will release your data for processing and publication on our website.
