FOCO JORGE CADENA: Intimad y Rebeldia

5 short films by Jorge Cadena will be screened within the Ciclo Rosa Festival in Bogota.

“The films of Jorge Cadena, a Colombian filmmaker based in Switzerland, move between the personal and the collective, the introspective and the political. In the Ciclo Rosa, he presents a series of short films he has made over the last decade, in a constant back and forth between his origins in the Colombian Caribbean and his foreign view of the world.”

Jorge Cadena was part of the Berlinale Talents program 2021. His latest short film FLORES DEL OTRO PATIO was awarded with the Narrative Short Special Jury Award at SXSW South By Southwest Film Festival and the International Audience Award at Glasgow Short Film Festival, among others. He is currently working on his first feature MALESTAR TROPICAL.
