Born in 1947 in Tuttlingen, Germany. Multi-talented musician, designer, actor and author. Apprenticeship as a window dresser. Has lived in Switzerland since 1966. Worked as a decorator in large department stores. 1968 Drama school Studio Bühne Karl Wagner in Zurich. Then active as an actor in numerous small theatres in Zurich. Since 1987 self-employed in the fields of interior design, interior decoration and photo styling. In between, music projects and numerous stage appearances. 1996 Opening of his own shop Steinhauer for high-quality design. In between 1986-2019 film appearances as an actor in numerous Swiss short and feature films as well as commercials.
