Born in 1974 in Assuan, Egypt. Egyptian citizenship. Studied Media Sciences and Journalism at Faculty of Art, South Valley University, Egypt. Attended F+F Schule für Kunst und Mediendesign, Zurich. As independent filmmaker he realizes feature films and documentaries. Founder of Swiss Initiative - culture projects, Zurich, Karmakol International Festival, Sudan, and FEKRA Cultural Center, Aswan, Egypt. Co-founder of donkeyshot filmproduction Zurich.

Studium der Regie an der F+F Zürich, Schule für Kunst und Design, Schweiz, wo er nach seinem Abschluss arbeitete. Als freier Filmemacher realisiert er Spiel- und Dokumentarfilme.
