Une boîte d'un magasin de jouets tombe d'un camion de livraison sur une route de campagne. La petite fille marionnette Mo sort en rampant. Perdue dans le monde des humains, elle part à la recherche d'amis et découvre par hasard l'entrée secrète d'un monde féerique de marionnettes. Commence alors un voyage aventureux au terme duquel Mo trouve sa destinée.
