Sonia Mackwani
Director, Producer, Screenwriter
A Swiss-Indian author, filmmaker, therapist and social entrepreneur. In 2002 she founded Touching Lives an NGO in Mumbai. She graduated with a Master in Clinical Psychology from Mumbai in 2005. She is cofounder of Guidant Films in Basel. Her award winning short film SPACE (2018) screened at Traverse City Film Festival. She was assistant director on CHILD OF NATURE (2019) and coscreenwriter and assistant director on PRIMA. PILOT (2025), her latest short film, had its world premiere at the Tasveer Film Festival in Seattle.
