Born in 1985 in Ghazni, Afghanistan. In the same year he emigrated to Iran with his family and grew up there. From 2003-05 he studied directing and cinematography at Haft Honar in Iran. He returned to Afghanistan with his family in 2005 and worked there as a cinematographer. In 2015 he had to leave his home country and has been living in Switzerland since. 2018-23 Bachelor studies at ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). 2023 Bachelor in Film from ZHdK.
