Julien Bono is a multidisciplinary artist and member of the Swiss-based photography collective "Le Salon". Born in Neuchâtel in 1988, he grew to a very respectable 188 cm on three continents and finally settled at the foot of the Jura to study journalism, history and film history and aesthetics. In his professional career, Julien led a team of eight turners/editors for four years producing more than 250 short films per year and also regularly directs institutional or advertising commissioned films privately or with the ScreenVision agency. Julien's essays on gore cinema have been published in France and Switzerland, his music has been downloaded in 54 countries, his strong opinions can sometimes be heard on the airwaves, his caustic humor can be heard in some independent video games and his photographic works have been exhibited between Switzerland and Sicily. In addition, he has also (co-)written and (co-)directed numerous short fiction, documentary or experimental films for which he was awarded, among others, the Jury Prize at the Festival Haut&Court 2014.
