Joan-Marc Zapata
Director, Screenwriter
Born in 1989 in Barcelona, Spain. In 2012 he graduated from the University of Girona with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and completed in 2013 a Master's degree in film directing at the Bande a Part school in Barcelona. Later, he went to Los Angeles where he began directing his first projects. Since 2011 he has directed several short films which have been awarded around the world. Among them, stand out the awards of "The Amazing Thailand Film Challenge" in which more than 500 Projects took part. His short film BRIGHT SIDE IN D MINOR, shot in Switzerland, also received several international nominations. COLOR OF HEAVEN is his first feature-length film.
