Fabian Gamper

Cinematographer, Director, Lighting Designer

Born in 1985 in Aarau, Switzerland. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor in Film from the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts). Worked as a second camera assistant on feature and television films, prior to studying cinematography at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His first feature film as a cinematographer DARK BLUE GIRL (2017) by Mascha Schilinski, celebrated its world premiere in the Perspektive Deutsches Kino section at the Berlinale. In 2018 Fabian Gamper won the Deutscher Kamerapreis for the short film BLUE SUMMER SYMPHONY by Sinje Köhler. His recent work includes the feature SOUND OF FALLING (2025) by Mascha Schilinski which premiered in Cannes' International Competition.
