Born in 1996 in Hamburg, Germany, he studied stage design with Raimund Bauer at the HFBK Hamburg and, as an ASA scholarship holder, film with Clément Cogitore and conceptual art with Àlvaro Urbano and Petri Halilaj at the École des Beaux Arts Paris. His stage designs are created for theatre and opera in German-speaking countries. At the same time his set designs can be seen in film, e.g. for ABL MA ANSA (Mariam Mekiwi, Forum Expanded Berlinale 2018), CIVIL DUSK (David Uzochukwu & Jünglinge Film, CPH:DOX 2022) or DEATH AND THE MAIDEN (Adina Pintilie).
ARCHITECTURE OF HAPPINESS (2024), codirected with Michele Cirigliano, is his directing debut.
