"Venus Boyz" continues its success tour

Exactly two years ago, Gabriel Baur's film about Drag Kings premiered during Critics' Week at the Locarno International Film Festival and was subsequently awarded "Best Film". On August 22, 2003, First Run Features will launch it's distribution in the United States with an opening at the Quad Cinema in New York City. Additional screenings are planned in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago. After having been shown in movie theatres in eight European countries, the DVD version of the film (produced by Impuls Home Entertainment in cooperation with Xenix Filmdistribution and Frame Eleven, and supported by Suissimage) will be available in
Switzerland, Germany, Austria, England, and Italy in September of 2003.
