Two Swiss films at Pusan (South Korea)

The 12th Pusan International Film Festival, taking place from October 4 – 12, 2007, will present two Swiss films. With director Jacob Berger in attendance, the feature film “1 journée” (Production: Vega Film AG, Zurich) will screen in the “World Cinema” section, while the music documentary “Sonic Mirror” by Finnish director Mika Mika Kaurismäki (Production: Marco Forster Productions, Vevey) will be shown as part of the “Wide Angle” series.
Organized in the second largest city in South Korea, the festival and its film market belong to the most important distribution platforms for European films in the Far East. The European Film Promotion (EFP), an association of national film promotion agencies in Europe, will be represent at the festival’s “Asian Film Market”.
