Swiss Shooting Star has great resonance

At the 2006 Berlinale Shooting Star event, which ended with a large reception at the Adlon Hotel on Monday, February 13, Swiss representative Carlos Leal secured contracts with acting agencies in Spain (Kuranda, Madrid) and Italy (Officini Artistiche, Rome). A role in the next James Bond movie is currently also in negotiation.
Organized by European Film Promotion, the 9th edition of the Shooting Stars event took place in Berlin from February 11-13, 2006 and featured 21 up-and-coming acting talents. Each from a different European country, the young actors and actresses were presented to an international audience in the limelight of Berlin’s Postdam Square.
In January, the 36-year-old Lausanne citizen had won the 2006 Swiss Film Prize for his role of Paco in “Snow White” (Director: Samir).
