SWISS FILMS, the promotion agency, is presenting a programme comprised of four films that address justice and injustice, guilt and innocence, public judicial systems and individual fates, while concurrently portraying a universal perspective. The film programme in Buenos Aires is part of the collaboration with Latin American cultural exchange partners launched in 2010. The 11th Documentary Film Festival in Buenos Aires (Doc Buenos Aires, October 13-22, 2011) is the most important platform for documentary films in Argentina and deliberately limits its selection to 40 films.

Luciano Monteagudo, festival director and programme director of the Argentine film archive, has described the film "Eine ruhige Jacke" as the discovery among Swiss film productions. The 28-year-old director Ramón Giger will personally present his award-winning portrait of an autistic person in Buenos Aires. Further films presented in "Perspectiva suiza" include: "Cleveland Versus Wall Street" by Jean-Stéphane Bron; "Les lessiveuses" by Yamina Zoutat; and "Prud'hommes" by Stéphane Goël. The four Swiss documentary films all made their public debuts in 2010. The screening in Argentina is an important international milestone in their festival careers.
