Swiss diploma films competing in Drama, Greece

The 13th International Short Film Festival, taking place in Drama, Greece, from September 16 – 22, 2007, will present the Swiss short feature films “Sale grosse” by Genevoise Joëlle Bacchetta (ECAL, Lausanne), and “Nachtflattern” by Carmen Stadler (ZHDK, Zurich) in the international competition.
The diploma films by the two young Swiss filmmakers are in the running for a Grand Prize as well as for the Prix UIP award, which qualifies its winner to be nominated for the European Film Prize.
In 1978, the Film Festival in Drama originally started as a national festival and later opened itself up for international participation in 1995. It also offers a short film market for film professionals.
