Sales success for “Home” in Cannes

“Home” the first feature-length fiction film by Swiss director Ursula Meier (Box Productions, Lausanne) has straightaway been sold to six countries at the Cannes International Film Market. The film, a coproduction between Belgium, France and Switzerland with Isabelle Huppert and Olivier Gourmet in the leading roles was presented within the frame of a special screening, organized by the Semaine International de la Critique in Cannes.
By MIF's end the French international sales film company Memento Films announced the sales of “Home”. The film has been sold to the following countries (distributors): Great Britain (Soda), Greece (Rosebud), India (Alliance), Italy (Teodora), Portugal (Atalanta) and to the former Yugoslavian states (Megacom). The Negotiations with distribution companies in Germany, USA and other territories are in progress. The distribution in the coproduction countries will be executed by the companies Lumière (Benelux), Diaphana Distribution (France) and Filmcoopi (Switzerland).
