Pass for Cannes Film Festival

The European film portal Cineuropa.org has launched a contest for Anglophone film lovers until April 25. The winner will receive an invitation to the Cannes Film Festival (May 14 – 25, 2008) and write a personal blog on the portal during the festival.
To win the pass to the Cannes Film Festival, participants only have to answer correctly ten quiz questions that deal with the films and festival, as well as write a half-page critique of a European film in English. The competition is open to adult citizens of any of the participating countries in the MEDIA Program of the European Union (thus also Swiss citizens). The winner will receive a festival pass to see the European films of his or her choice screened at the festival. The winner will also own a personal blog for the Internet portal directly from Cannes. The winner’s only own expense will be their transportation costs. Information on participating in the “Become Cineuropean” contest can be found at www.cineuropa.org.
