SWISS FILMS is broadening its marketing expertise to raise the domestic visibility of Swiss cinema

02.07.2025

To deliver the planned marketing initiatives, SWISS FILMS is expanding its marketing team with Noémie Burckhardt and Lars Gebert.

The aim of this pilot project is to heighten the profile of Swiss films across all language regions and, together with selected partners, win a broader audience for new Swiss productions. We are delighted to welcome Noémie Burckhardt and Lars Gebert to the team. Under the leadership of Nadja Scherrer (Head of Marketing & Partnerships), they will develop and implement both national and regional marketing campaigns together with selected producers, distributors and partners from the private sector.

Noémie Burckhardt joins SWISS FILMS as a Junior Marketing Manager (50%). She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management from HEC Lausanne, where she focused on cinema marketing. She gained initial professional experience at CANAL+ and Goldbach Media, where she honed her skills in the media and advertising sectors.

Lars Gebert also comes on board as a Junior Marketing Manager (50%). He earned a Bachelor in Communication and Film Studies and a Master in Social and Communication Sciences. Before joining SWISS FILMS, he spent three years at a marketing agency. He is also active as a videographer and photographer and has realised various audiovisual projects.

On behalf of the Federal Office of Culture, SWISS FILMS is running a pilot project to raise the visibility of Swiss filmmaking within Switzerland. The initiative includes a range of marketing activities and an open call for cooperation under the “Campaign Booster”. The project was launched in January 2025 and will run until 2028
