Communication and marketing expert Nadja Scherrer is the new project manager responsible for the domestic promotion pilot project at SWISS FILMS. Océane Klingler and Samuel Damiani are two new interns who will be supporting the communication and the SWISS FILMS Lab teams in 2025.
Nadja Scherrer has been responsible for the new pilot project domestic promotion at SWISS FILMS since the beginning of 2025. The award-winning communication strategist has an Executive M.A. in Intercultural Communication as well as an M.A. in Bilingual Translation. She has worked in the U.S. and Europe for many years and speaks fluent German, French and Italian, among other languages.
Over the last 20 years, Nadja Scherrer has worked for major brands such as Swatch, Migros, MTV, Real Madrid, Paramount Global and Apple in Silicon Valley, where she was involved in intercultural marketing projects with a focus on the Swiss market. As an international entrepreneur, she has an extensive network in Switzerland and across the globe. Nadja Scherrer is looking forward to “working with all industry representatives to further strengthen the visibility of Swiss filmmaking in Switzerland.”
“This promising marketing role has attracted a great deal of interest. We are delighted to have Nadja Scherrer on board to take on this new challenge: she has extensive experience in developing B2C partnerships and the requisite flair for Switzerland’s multilingualism,” notes SWISS FILMS director Nicola Ruffo with regard to the executive board’s decision.
