Charlotte Ducos joins SWISS FILMS

Charlotte Ducos, a documentary film expert with 15 years of experience in international film distribution, production and audiovisual concepts, is joining SWISS FILMS in mid-January 2022 as “Consultant Documentary & Marketing Strategies”.
After studying German and History at the Freie Universität University Berlin and the Université Paris Nanterre, Charlotte Ducos graduated in Distribution and Cinema Management from La Fémis (Fondation Européenne des Métiers de l'Image et du Son) in 2004. From 2004 to 2007, she was a programmer at the French distribution company Carlotta Films and then worked for five years in Hong Kong as a project manager in institutional communications. After her return to Europe, she was responsible for coproductions at ARTE. In the last years, she was head of post-production at the documentary production company Seppia, which focuses on European coproductions and later responsible for the development of documentaries as well as for web and immersive content (VR, 360 and AR).
Charlotte Ducos is fascinated by the art of documentary filmmaking in representing reality in a variety of forms. She is looking forward to bringing her expertise to Swiss filmmaking, which is facing the challenges of a changing world in a powerful and original way.
