Change in the SWISS FILMS Executive Board

Aida Suljičić is leaving SWISS FILMS of her own accord as of May 12, 2021. She will devote herself to further education and pursue independent projects.
Aida Suljičić joined the SWISS FILMS team in 2015 from the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and held various positions, most recently as head of the Festivals and Markets department and in this capacity also as a member of the Executive Board. Her deputy Andreas Bühlmann will take over the management of the department ad interim and thus also take a seat on the Executive Board. SWISS FILMS would like to thank Aida Suljičić for her dedicated work and wishes her all the best for her future.
The designated SWISS FILMS Director Nicola Ruffo will take up his position at the beginning of July 2021. A decision on filling the vacant position in the Festivals and Markets department will be made in the summer.
SWISS FILMS is the promotion agency for Swiss filmmaking. On behalf of the Swiss Federal Office of Culture, SWISS FILMS facilitates the international presence of Swiss film productions through consulting, support measures and publicity services. The foundation is organised under private law, with an office in Zurich and in Geneva.
