“Birdy” and “Punkt und Striche” awarded in Geneva

At the second edition of the Cinématou film festival (October 6 - 14, 2007), Dennis Furrer won the IKEA prize "coup de cœur des enfants" (children’s audience award) for his short animated film "Birdy". The award comes with a prize sum of CHF 5,000.
For his film "Punkt und Striche", Jésus Pérez took home the TSR Prize for Best Animated Short Film. The award includes the purchase of the movie by the Télévision suisse romande (TSR) television station. The prize was bestowed by a jury of five children ages 9 to 13.
