Another award for “On The Line” in Hollywood

The German-Swiss short film “On The Line” by Reto Caffi has been lavished with over 20 international awards until now. On September 13, 2008, it was honoured with yet another prize: the Grand Prize at the 13th Angelus Student Film Festival held at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood, amounting to 10,000 dollars.
The film was among the 22 nominated student films. The Grand Prize, referred to as the “Patrick Peyton Excellence in Filmmaking Award”, has been awarded since 1996 and is the most prestigious award presented at this festival. “On The Line”, which has won the Oscar for Best Foreign Student Film, the Grand Prix in Clermont Ferrand and the “Quartz” Swiss Film Prize 2008 for Best Short Film, among others, thus continues its international career, winning new awards practically every week.
