The story of a cuckoo in his clock. His name is Edmond and the clock is where he works, like his father before him, and his father's father before that. His call marks each hour and each half hour, invariably on time as the hours and the days slip by and with them his life, uninterrupted by surprises or alterations of any kind in a mechanical routine of ticktock and a whirring of gears. Then one day Lucien, the cuckoo from the apartment next door comes to pay a visit, with the excuse that his own clock has broken down…
