For Malek, Fidé, Sana and Mariem, the long days of work in the fields during the summer are a way to help their families but also to be together and escape the monotony of their country life. They always find a way to have fun, sometimes at the expense of others, especially the older workers. In this rural setting, the fig trees hide moments of intimacy and tension where the orchard becomes a real theatre of emotions, where the relationship with work, love and boys is played out.
