Luis, a young farm hand, helps Vasco finish a contract to cut a huge amount of wood before winter, while his wife in Portugal is about to give birth. In the meantime, the tension rises and the distance becomes unbearable.
Luis, un giovane operaio di una fattoria, aiuta Vasco a finire un contratto per tagliare un'enorme quantità di legna prima dell'inverno, mentre sua moglie in Portogallo sta per partorire. Nel frattempo la tensione aumenta e la distanza diventa insopportabile.
