A nomad riding a motorcycle sings a song while traveling in the wide open landscape of the Tibetan Plateau. The film is a subjective travelogue about the experiences in a nomadic culture on the brink of extinction. Repeated visits change the personal experience of the author and deepen the understanding of the local culture. The peaceful meetings with nomads in their tents are overshadowed by the government's decision to force the nomads into permanent settlements. At the end of the film a nomad expresses his intention to keep living in the traditional way.
