Filmed in early November, Terrestri follows four old friends in their garden as they prepare for winter. With little work left to do in the garden at this time of the year, they drive their own roots deeper into the soil, spending their time gathering together, eating, playing cards, and sharing stories. As they reminisce about the past, they also reflect on the future—about the changes they’ve lived through and the uncertainty ahead. In the quiet of the season, their conversations offer a reflection on friendship, time, evanescence and the things that endure.
