Swiss spirit – what is it exactly? With this question, the documentary filmmaker Severin Frei embarks on a journey to explore the essence of his homeland and get a feel for his compatriots. He visits the geographical extremes in Switzerland and immerses himself in all four linguistic cultures. In the process, he meets people who impart insight into their lifestyles and moral values. The film is a personal discovery tour through one’s homeland, authentic, spontaneous – and astonishingly affectionate.
