Sabrina Wallier is twelve years old. She is the only child in Switzerland who has progeria, an incurable illness of which 40 cases are known throughout the world. Her small body ages eight times more rapidly than that of a healthy human. Intellectual and mental development are unaffected and Sabrina has the same dreams and desires as her friends in the village. The Walliers live in Untervaz in the canton of Graubünden. They fly to America every year to meet other people suffering from progeria, finding consolation and emotional support through this exchange. The film documents four years of Sabrina's life in the village community, her daily routine, festive occasions with the family, and the calvary her parents are undergoing.
